“Making a Living and a Life” - Seeing ALL Careers, including yours, as part of a green economy!

  • New Vista High School 700 20th Street Boulder, CO, 80302 United States (map)

This program will introduce the ALL Careers Approach to Education to BVSD students and others. Significantly, it is being planned by BVSD students and will be held at a BVSD school! It will include a panel discussion with businesses (JAX and Treehouse learning) and students, engaging activities, and ideas galore for how to take the ALL Careers approach and increase your 21st century job readiness!

Come at 6:00 pm for a 30 minute gather-up period to mingle, learn about the CU Sustainable Business Club and Sharpe Sustainability Center and enjoy free pizza! The program starts at 6:30. Thank you to JAX Mercantile and JR Heckman LLC for sponsoring free pizza!

The ALL Careers approach connects environmental and energy understanding to every career path — not just the small subset traditionally labeled as “environmental or green careers.” The goal is to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge that environmental principles are relevant in every field. This is a path to a green economy that empowers us all – especially youth!

RSVP’s at this Eventbrite Site encouraged; “walk-ins” welcome. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/making-a-living-and-a-life-all-careers-as-environmental-careers-tickets-1984846885465?aff=oddtdtcreator&keep_tld=true
