This program will bring the ALL Careers Approach to Education to BVSD students and others. Signifiantly, it is being planned by BVSD students and will be held at a BVSD school!
The ALL Careers approach connects environmental and energy understanding to every career path — not just the small subset traditionally labeled as “environmental or green careers.” The goal is to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge that environmental principles are relevant in every field. This is a path to a green economy that empowers us all – especially youth!
More information coming soon, including RSVP information, door prizes, and more!
No RSVP required, but contact Martin Ogle at MartinOgle@hotmail.com for more information.

This program features a beautiful film about the traditional prayer, “Words Before All Else,” which is central to the spiritual and cultural beliefs of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee (also known as the Iroquois). This daily prayer gives thanks to Mother Earth, Elder Brother Sun, Grandmother Moon, water, animals and plants, and all other living things. This film interpretation was produced by Dave Bowden of the Sustainable Media Network, Denver, CO.
After the video, Martin Ogle, Founder of Geo Sapiens will explore how this daily prayer of gratitude inspires and guides our actual work for revitalizing our human relationship with energy, Earth, and the web of life. How can we “translate” our care of and concern for this relationship into new visions and practical ways to create a human economy in balance with Earth’s living systems? Through learning about renewable energy, environmental principles and connecting these to every aspect of our economy!
This event is a production of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society and co-sponsored by the Sustainable Media Network and Geo Sapiens
